The Diggers were one of those bands in the late 1997 that really deserved a second look or at least some chart fame. The Scottish quartet were very much in the mold of traditional power pop (The Beatles, the Kinks, Big Star, Badfinger and the Raspberries). I got my copy from Not Lame Records back then and this song still stands out for me.
