Poison Control Center "Being Gone"

Okay all April Fools kidding aside, these guys have been on tour with Apple In Stereo recently. Poison Control Center will release their new double-album “Sad Sour Future” through Afternoon Records on May 18th. The new video was shot in the band’s home digs of Ames, IA by Andrew Roger. Horns, cowbells, and jangly guitars…just the way you like it!

Bleu "No Such Thing As Love" and Justin Kline needs help.

My favorite song from Bleu’s album “A Watched Pot.” This official video was directed and photographed by David J Dowling. In addition to the excellent music, the video features portraits of really stunning young women.

HELP SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL MUSICIAN, JUSTIN KLINE.
Justin Kline has done some great work with his “Six Songs” EP. Recently, his new album was stolen, when a thief broke into the Nashville Studio he was recording in and took all the gear including the recordings. Please help him rebuild and release his next EP. This same thing happened last year to Bryan Scary and it’s really difficult to get through – his album is being self funded as well.

Patrick & Eugene "Don’t Stop"

If you enjoy the whimsy of Anglo-pop (Yes, I’m talking to you fans of Pugwash and The Duckworth Lewis Method) Patrick and Eugene are a a wonderfully quirky duo with a vaudevillian approach. Lots of fun here – album review coming soon.

Jackdaw4 "This Is Your Life"

How do you know when a song is classic? When someone else can cover it and it still sounds amazing. An acoustic rendition of “This Is Your Life” (from Jackdaw4’s ‘Gramophone Logic’). Guest vocalist Givvi Flynn takes lead vocals here and she knocks it out of the park. Both of Jackdaw4’s albums Gramophone Logic and Bipolar Diversions are now available as high quality downloads from Bandcamp. Both albums are what I consider exemplary of modern power pop.
