The Zombies “Any Other Way”
British Invasion icons, The Zombies, who released their first chart-topping single in 1964, debuted their first-ever music video this (last) week. “Any Other Way”, penned by lead singer Colin Blunstone, is featured on their latest studio release, Breathe Out Breathe In.
The Solicitors “Quicksand”
Back in May my friend Scott at Pop Boomerang Records introduced me to this great new Australian band, The Solicitors. Now they have a new single that is so cool I had to feature it in a post. A new album is in the works for some time in 2014, so if you missed out on the debut EP, you get the new single “Quicksand” included.

Good Ol’ Freda coming soon!
Yeah, we’ve all seen movies about people who knew The Beatles, but what about the one person who spent life with the band day-to-day, from the early days till the end. That would be the Beatles personal secretary Freda Kelly. Director Ryan White gives us a documentary of Freda’s 11 years of service with The Fab Four.
The film will open in theaters and iTunes on September 6th.
Greg Pope’s Giant Monster Playset
One of our favorite musicians, Greg Pope is a filmmaker too and we reported about Giant Monster Playset and it’s music a few years ago. The film made the rounds at a few festivals and now its online (see above) and on DVD.
The DVD release includes the film and extra features like commentary track, visual effects reel, production gallery, etc, AND the entire Monster Suit album (which served as the official soundtrack). Get it at Amazon.
