Cruiserweight "Balboa"
After a review of Dream Bitches a few days ago, I hear another good female power pop vocalist. That would be Stella of the Austin, TX band Cruiserweight. “Balboa” has a nice pop hook and is available on Itunes as a 3 song EP. Reminds me a bit of Paula Kelley, but with a punkier sheen to her voice. Can’t wait for the full length!

I’ve been looking for this for months now and finally it’s on YouTube. This German version of Ronnie and the Daytona’s “LIttle GTO” was the first time I saw a TV spot and went frantically searching for the original song (also on YouTube). Now where can I find the German VW band’s full version.
