The Explorers Club gets ready to release a new album Grand Hotel, so while we are waiting this exclusive Amazon only suite with three tracks is available for FREE DOWNLOAD. These “under construction” tracks include the band’s take on the classic Burt Bacharach tune “Walk On By.”
Just for some clarification… there will be three free “suites” from The Explorers Club, all paving the way for the forthcoming album “Grand Hotel” in early 2012 (we’re hoping Valentines Day, but don’t hold us to it…) The Californian Suite is out now, The Carolinian Suite features “Stormy” and two more “under construction” mixes of songs from GH, and that will arrive around the same time as your turkey dinner, and then when you’ve finished unwrapping your gifts by the tree, you can scoot back over to amazon.com and grab The New Yorker Suite, which will hit you with “Hitchin’ A Ride” and a couple of the real pop gems from the album (also “under construction” mixes.) We give you these mixes because the album’s being mixed by Mark Linett, and once he finished “SMiLE” he polished up the “Grand Hotel,” and we couldn’t be more pleased!
